A new year and new appointments begin! 🙈📱. No rest for the wicked eh?! 😂
Today we visited the nurse practitioner who works alongside Hermione's paediatrician.
I think they're used to me verbally vomiting out everything I need them to know/things I want to ask now 🙈😂.
I take my little notebook, as my memory can fail me when I'm with Hermione who is usually climbing on every chair in the room. Today she nicked my pen off me and diligently handed it to the nurse, and then came back for my notebook and handed that to her too 😂. So much for my prep 🙈😂.
I'm also armed with a thousand things in the bag, to keep her amused and her hunger and thirst at bay.
Our current must-haves are:
*a packet of Skips,
*a suction bowl to eat them in and so they don't get thrown on the floor,
*Various 'That's Not My...' books,
*The tablet,
*pull-ups, wipes, tissues,
*a packet of Pom Bears as a back up, in case the Skips don't cut it.
*And I've maybe got my purse in there somewhere 😂.
Hermione was good, bless her, and even tolerated the lift to the first floor. As we left, she waved and said bye-bye to everyone in the waiting room, and I again marvelled at her ability to bring joy to the moment.
January can be a hard month, but I know Hermione will keep pushing me to find the joy in everyday experiences.
