Throwback to those tender first few days, when you were our little baby, in a bubble ❤️.
You were not yet words on a Disability Living Allowance form; awaiting judgement from people who had never had the pleasure of meeting you, as to which tier of help you were deemed worthy of.
You were not yet outcomes or targets; nor severely delayed in this and that.
You were not yet part of a wider system that can sometimes work against you and your needs, or sometimes withhold the things you need to thrive and live the fulfilling life you deserve.
You were not yet part of a wider system that can sometimes use the things you need as bargaining chips in a cynical political world.
No, you were our baby. Our precious new life, to be cherished and nurtured.
You deserve the world and more baby Hermione.
We continue to fight; to change perceptions and to strive to give you everything and more.
