Hermione had her first full day back at school today, and she was a little superstar š¤© š„°.
She'd practised her lines, verbal and in Makaton, for her part in the nativity (even the thought of it sends me into a crying frenzy! šš) and she'd worked hard on her See and Learn sessions and words with her lovely TA.
And she'd started the day with yoga!! š§āāļø
When she came home, we noticed that she is attempting so many more words. She wants to tell us about things (after she's watched Waffle the Wonder Dog that is š), and she attempts to say and sign her classmates names.
I love hearing the tones of her little voice. It's another thing I love about being Hermione's mum. It's so worth the wait ā¤ļøā¤ļø.
And it's been such a relief to see her joining back in with her peers, and getting back into school life after a traumatic time for her.
Looking forward to seeing what she makes of Christmas this year, and after the time we've had the last two weeks, if she asked for a unicorn with pink tap shoes, we'd probably make sure Father Christmas would deliver it! š¦šš
