We've been delighted with the lovely things Hermione has been making at school this week š.
We've had a mouse for Hickory Dickory Dock, a Humpty for Humpty Dumpty, and today we had Five Little Speckle Frogs š.
Hermione loves to sing and sign well known nursery rhymes.
We had a lovely moment leaving school yesterday, when, as I was juggling Hermione's bags and a very tired Hermione, I overheard a little boy enthusiastically telling his mum about some sign language he had learnt that day.
I glanced over at him demonstrating the signs to his mum and it made my heart sing.
Knowing that Hermione can understand and be understood, is one of the most important things to us as Hermione's parents.
Seeing inclusion in action with such enthusiasm from her peers makes us feel so hopeful about her future years at school and beyond.
We walked across the playground with our hearts full.
